UPS Auto Battery Notification

Most of our UPS service customers with small UPS's struggle with service tracking issues regarding battery replacement. Small UPS batteries usually last about two years. Without a scheduled battery replacement program, aging batteries can swell, overheat, and cause damage to the UPS.

Left unattended, a small UPS may notify you of a dead battery by finally triggering an alarm, but, not all small UPS's have alarms, and your only notification will probably be a power outage induced computer crash with a host of reliability, hardware failure, downtime, and software corruption issues that accompany an abrupt loss of power.

Seeing value in a battery replacement schedule, many of our service customers are now taking proactive measures in dealing with small UPS service issues by letting us manage their battery replacement schedules.

During this initial Preventive Maintenance and battery replacement, we will catalogue and inventory each UPS entering it into our our automated service notification system, and notify you when your batteries need to be replaced again.

If you currently lack a small UPS battery replacement tracking method, (not uncommon by the way) we suggest simply synchronizing all UPS battery replacement schedules by replacing all the batteries on the first visit (optional). Small UPS batteries are not very expensive, and a fresh schedule will guarantee maximum reliability and eliminate downtime until the next battery replacement cycle.
